Answer to Question 1

C
Responses A, B, and D all are necessary education points. Patients with osteoporosis should increase their calcium intake with fortified foods such as low-fat milk, yogurt, cereal, and orange juice. They should also limit their intake of caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol and should not use scatter rugs because they are at increased risk of falling.

Answer to Question 2

B
Older adults frequently have difficulty distinguishing colors (response D), with glare on laminated documents (response A), and with small print (response C). A large yellow sign with bold black letters would be the easiest to see.
