Answer to Question 1

C
Because of yellowing of the lens of the eye with normal aging, older adults have difficulty seeing and differentiating low tone colors, such as blue, green, purple, and brown. Yellow and red are the colors of choice for signs and safety markings (response C).

Answer to Question 2

D
Traditional Asian culture holds elderly adults in great respect. They live with and are cared for by family members when they reach an age where they need assistance. Only elderly adults who do not want to be around children or who have no family are placed in nursing homes. There are only five nursing homes in all of China.
