What is the best statement about the status of comics into today's schools?
 
  a. Most teachers and library media specialists do not think comics can play a serious role in the middle and secondary curriculum.
  b. While some educators question whether this genre actually belongs in school library media centers and classrooms, other teachers and library media specialists have decided to explore the existing comic book formats and identify strategies for making effective use of this genre.
  c. Comics have not developed and likely will not develop a sufficient respect in schools to make them acceptable curricular materials.
  d. Comics have been so respected to a point that some states and districts have made them a mandatory curriculum standard.
