Dr. Samuels, Tim, Chris, and John work on a research study together. Although they each played a part in the work conducted, the original idea was Tim's. In addition, Tim put in the most work followed by John and Chris.
 
  However, the work was done in Dr. Samuel's lab with his guidance. According to APA who should be first author on the project.
