Why did Sweden, Denmark, and Great Britain reject the euro?

Answer to Question 1

Sweden feared a loss of financial and monetary independence. Danes worried that the euro would threaten their generous welfare benefits or even their national unity. When Britain had to decide whether to use the common currency, its economy was stronger than those of Germany and France, giving the Brits confidence in shunning the euro.
