Answer to Question 1

Ainsworth assesses attachment style through an infant's reaction to the Strange Situation. It is an experimental procedure in which the attachment of an infant to a parent is observed after the parent has left the infant with a stranger and then returns later.

Answer to Question 2

Schema theory suggests that everyone possesses organized mental systems of information which help them make sense of and organize their experiences.
