Answer to Question 1

Wheat, corn, soybeans, and cotton.

Answer to Question 2

a. Western U.S.
Arid to semiarid except along the OR and WA coasts where it is humid to tropical humid.
b. Eastern U.S.
Sub-humid to tropical humid.
