Compare the topography in the western U.S. to the topography of the
  eastern U.S. (For example, where is the land mountainous? Where is it
  fl at?) What will be an ideal response?



Question 2

List the name of one country that you think best meets the characteristics
  you listed in question  for utilizing each reservoir. Briefly explain why
  you think that reservoir is that countrys best option for supplying its

Th e U.S. Precipitation layer is semi-transparent, so you should be able to see
through the layer to the underlying shaded relief image. Th is allows you to
examine topography and precipitation together.

Answers will vary. Examples are Namibia, Chile, Mexico, and Australia.
b. Oceans
Answers will vary. Examples are United States (coastal cities), England, Japan, Saudi
Arabia.
c. Ice sheets
