Scientists are observing a rapid decrease in polar ice owing to global warming. How might a warming climate affect national claims to land and resources in Antarctic and Arctic areas? How might the states of the world best address those changing claims?

Answer: Varies but answer should speak to existing claims on the Antarctic and oil exploration in Arctic. Answers should also speak to the Law of the Sea mandates.
