Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

The Atlantic hurricane season officially extends from June through November. However, most of the activity is in August through October. Hurricanes develop most often in the late summer when ocean waters have reached temperatures of 27C (80F) or higher and thus are able to provide the necessary heat and moisture to the air.
