Height, length, and period of a wave are determined by wind speed, the length of time the wind has blown, and fetch (the distance that wind has traveled across open water).

Answer to Question 2

Sea level changes that come with glacier formation and glacier melt, river erosion and delta deposition, volcanic activity, and mountain building.
