The Pacific is the largest and deepest ocean basin. The Atlantic Ocean is half the size of the Pacific and not quite as deep. The Indian Ocean is only slightly smaller than the Atlantic and about the same depth. The Arctic Ocean is about 7 the size of the Pacific and about one-fourth the depth of the other ocean basins.
