The major advantage is that the Caribbean is spatially proximate to North America and, to a lesser extent, Europe. Also advantageous is the level of education exhibited by many countries and territories in the region. The disadvantages include limited infrastructure and potentially higher wagesunlike, say, the wage structure exhibited by China.
