Please explain the three major factors contributing to tropical deforestation. In which regions do we find this problem especially pronounced?

Three factors contributing to deforestation: (1)Globalization of commerce in international wood products; (2)world's appetite for beef; (3)expansion of settlement into these regions. Regions where this tropical deforestation is pronounced: Amazon Basin, Southeast Asia.
