Answer: Clouds: Clouds bands become deeper toward the center of the hurricane. Precip: Rainfall becomes more intense under each cloud band. Pressure and wind speed: Air pressure decreases gradually in the outer portions of the hurricane but intensifies rapidly toward the center of the hurricane. Temperature: Near the surface, temperatures increase only slightly toward the eye. Aloft, however, temperatures exceed those of the surroundings by about 10C (18F).
