The relationship between vorticity and convergence is such that
 
  A) angular momentum is not conserved.
  B) changes in vorticity in the upper troposphere can lead to convergence, but not divergence, near the earth's surface.
  C) increased convergence requires an increase in absolute vorticity over time.
