Answer to Question 1

Non-price competition is competition based on factors other than price. It is used most effectively when a seller can make its product stand out from the competition by distinctive product quality, customer service, promotion, packaging, or other features. It can be used when buyers are able to perceive the distinguishing characteristics and consider them desirable.
