procedures must be carefully organized, step by step, and usually in the
same order as they should be carried out; (2) any information about special
materials or preliminary steps should be included; and (3) all the specific
steps should be included.

Answer to Question 2

Process can be included in narration or description. Its purpose then is to
inform or describe.
