Answer to Question 1

A mudflow is up to 30 water, and at least 50 clay-sized particles. A debris flow contains less water
and larger particles.



Answer to Question 2

A slump involves movement along a curved surface, with backward rotation, while a rock slide
involves movement along an essentially planar surface.
