doom another.

Rockfalls are the simplest type of mass movement. They occur when a mass of rock detaches from a
cliff and literally falls to the bottom. Chunks of rock of all sizes simply fall from vertical or very steep
cliffs, having separated from the main mass along joints, faults, foliation planes, and other rock
defects. The rocks are loosened by root growth, frost wedging, and heavy precipitation
