Geologists study deformed rocks to locate economic resources such as oil, gas, and some ore deposits. They also study deformed rocks to interpret the geologic history of an area and to assess risks from earthquakes.

Answer to Question 2

The strike is the compass orientation of a line formed by the intersection of an imaginary horizontal plane with an inclined bedding plane. The dip is the angle between the imaginary horizontal plane and the inclined rock layer.

It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
