Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

If the same weight is applied over a larger surface area, then the stress decreases because that same force is spread out over a larger area. So, this means that stress is highest if you wear high heels (smallest surface area of contact of your foot with the floor), and the least amount of stress if you are wearing snow shoes (the largest surface area).
