Answer to Question 1

Answer: B

Answer to Question 2

Answer: The energy budget calculations need to be converted into temperature changes. The temperatures need to be altered to take into account latitude, elevation, seasons, and albedo differences in land, water, and ice. The temperature of the atmosphere at different thicknesses needs to be considered as well. The models then divide the earth surface into 5 by 5 boxes by latitude and longitude and inputting the average temperature for that region. The temperatures are averaged monthly for each both, then yearly. Those yearly temperatures are then averaged to find a global change in temperature.
