Answer: D

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Volcanic ash from the eruption creates a cloud like cover, increasing the albedo in the months following the eruption, causing a cooling at the time. The sulfur gases released by the volcano form aerosols in the atmosphere and reflect sunlight, causing cooling. The sulfur can cause cooling for a few years following an eruption.
