Between tidal volumes of 0 mL and 50 mL, the flow-cycle value is 5 of peak flow. Therefore, 5  10 L/min = 0.5 L/min.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: D
For delivered volumes greater than 200 mL, the flow cycle value is 25 of peak flow. Therefore, 25  18 L/min = 4.5 L/min.
