Answer to Question 1

ANS: B
RH = content (AH)/capacity  100. (35 = 0.35). 0.35 = x/44 = 15.4 mg H2O/L.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: C
When the relative humidity of inspired gas is greater than 60 of BTPS conditions, no injury is believed to occur in normal lungs. The production of mucus will increase, work of breathing will increase, and secretions will become thick and dehydrated when the relative humidity is less than 60 of BTPS.
