Answer to Question 2

ANS: B
The Ziehl-Neelsen stain is also called the acid-fast stain and is used to identify Mycobacterium species such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This stain is not used to identify streptococci, staph-ylococci, or Pseudomonas.
