Two rules for Think Time include:
 
  a. the student must remain silent and must respond only to the adult.
 
  b. the student must admit his or her wrong-doing and sign an agreement to avoid the behavior in the future.
 
  c. the student must be allowed at least 7-8 minutes to consider her or his behavior and agree to improved behavior.
 
  d. time in the principal's office and call his or her parents regarding the misbehavior.
