Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Thrombocytopenia, a stem cell disorder of the bone marrow, is diagnosed when a client's platelet count falls below 50,000/mm3 . It is the most common platelet complication of cancer and its treatments. DIC is a complex and potentially fatal disorder in which clotting occurs in the microvascular system (small clots inside blood vessels) and, at the same time, hemorrhaging develops.
Hemophilia is a sex-linked genetic disorder in which the person's blood is slow to coagulate because of a lack of clotting factor. vWD is a result of a lack of sufficient or poor quality von Willebrand factor, which is required for platelet adhesion.

Answer to Question 2

A, D, F
Feedback:
The nurse should list career objectives, memberships in organizations, and offices held. The nurse should also include nursing and community organizations (a limited number) and non-nursing and related volunteer positions. The resume should be positive, and not list shortcomings. It also should emphasize the past 5 years and not include personal data.
