Feedback:
Colloid solutions, often referred to as plasma expanders, are solutions used to replace circulating blood volume. Colloid solutions are given in critical or emergency situations when the hypotensive client is in jeopardy because of excess loss of fluids (e.g., hemorrhage due to trauma, burns, or anasarca total body edema).
