Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Health promotion and maintenance refers to growth and developmentpreventi on and early detection of health problems. Safe, effective care environment is the collaboration with the healthcare team to facilitate effective client care. Psychosocial integrity is the promotion/support of emotional, mental, and social well-being. Basic care and comfort refers to assistance with ADLs.

Answer to Question 2

A
Feedback:
Functional scoliosis occurs because of poor posture and, hence, the client may benefit from counseling in such cases. Frequently encouraging the client to stand or sit up straight usually does not help the client with scoliosis. Clients with scoliosis are usually encouraged to perform routine activities for themselves as much as possible. The client's family members are asked to encourage and promote as much independence as possible by allowing the client to function on his own and providing assistance only if the need arises for it or if requested by the client.

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
