Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
To be eligible to apply to take the licensure examination the first time, the student must reasonably be expected to graduate from an approved nursing program. (In some states, the candidate must have actually graduated.) A completed application, transcript of the student's records, and the required fee must be sent from the school to the state Board of Nursing, or the authority responsible for issuing licenses. The school must certify the applicant's expected graduation date. If the student does not graduate, he or she will not be allowed to take the examination. If a nursing graduate must repeat the examination, he or she is usually responsible for submitting the necessary information.
