Answer to Question 1

D
Feedback:
Duplex Doppler ultrasonography relies on imaging the cavernous arteries at the base of the penis before and after injection of a vasodilator into the corpora cavernosa of the penis. These injections usually induce an erection that may not go away. The client will need to be monitored until the erection has resolved or has been medically reversed by the healthcare provider. The client feels pressure and mild discomfort during the prostatic biopsy procedure. Nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT) tests help determine if a client is having nighttime erections. The prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is a blood test that detects a glycoprotein found only in the tissue of the prostate gland.

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
Diet plays no significant role in the development or progression of acne; however, a well-balanced, nutritional diet is essential for the overall good health of the client. Acne vulgaris usually develops during puberty and is slightly more common in boys than in girls. Acne is usually caused by hormonal changes during puberty, along with oversecretions of sebum. Acne vulgaris is generally influenced by stress, because emotional stress seems to cause flare-ups of the condition.
