Feedback:
Electroencephalogra phy (EEG) records the brain's electrical impulses as a graph. This test is used frequently in the diagnosis of seizure disorders, brain tumors, blood clots, infections, and sleep disorders. The lumbar puncture (LP, spinal tap) involves the insertion of a hollow needle with a stylet (guide) into the subarachnoid space of the lumbar region of the spinal canal. In some cases, a myelogram is performed to visualize the spinal cord. An angiogram is an x-ray study of any blood vessel.
