Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Massive generalized edema is known as anasarca. Ecchymosis is bruising or discoloration of the skin. Pits or dents remain for more than 2 seconds after pressure is released (pitting edema) or edema is obviously present, but skin is shiny and hard and does not dent, even when pressed (nonpitting edema).

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
Eszopiclone (Lunesta) is a newer medication commonly prescribed to treat insomnia. Phenytoin (Dilantin) is an anticonvulsive that depresses the brain's sensory areas located in the motor cortex. Loratadine (Claritin) is an antihistamine that causes the least amount of drowsiness in this class of drugs. Norepinephrine (levarterenol, Levophed) is a potent sympathetic neurotransmitter. Its primary action is to increase blood pressure as a result of vasoconstriction of peripheral blood vessels.
