The nurse must wear a particulate air filter respirator in the case of TB, not a surgical mask. Place a mask on the client with TB if transport is required. Supplies should stock at the end of the shift to ensure that the next shift has adequate supplies to begin client care. Hands have to be washed before and after administering client care.
