Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
If the dent in the skin remains for some time in edematous tissue, as in a +4 pitting edema, anasarca (generalized body edema) may also be noted. Sacral edema, as the name implies, is dependent edema in the sacral area. Dependent edema occurs in an area that hangs down, that is, in a dependent position. Pulmonary edema is an accumulation of interstitial fluid in the lungs.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
The client generally undergoes treatment in a subacute-care facility for 1 to 4 weeks. A client may be classified as subacute for 20 days under Medicare, after which the status is reevaluated. The client may be admitted to a hospital, not a subacute care facility, if he or she needs care for only 1 to 4 days; 1 to 4 months or 1 to 4 years are considered too long for a client to remain in a subacute-care facility.
