Answer to Question 1

D
Feedback:
After feeding, the mother should place the baby on the back or side because sleeping on the back decreases the risk of SIDS. Newborns are usually fed on demand or approximately every 2 to 4 hours. The baby should nurse at least 10 minutes on one breast before being offered the other breast. If engorgement is present, have the mother shower or use warm, moist heat before it is time to nurse, and then manually express some milk to soften the breast.

Answer to Question 2

A
Feedback:
A blood alcohol level ranging from 0.08 to 0.1 g/dL is the permitted legal level for driving. A client with a level of 0.3 g/dL will be vomiting, incoherent, and aggressive. When the blood alcohol level reaches 0.4 g/dL, the client will go into a coma. A blood alcohol level of 0.5g/dL indicates an increased chance of respiratory depression and death.
