Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
A high-protein diet is used for hepatitis. A carbohydrate-controlled diet is used for diabetes mellitus. A ketogenic diet is prescribed for children with seizure disorders, when anticonvulsant drugs and a balanced diet have failed to control seizures. A fat-controlled diet is used for hyperlipidemia.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
Enzymes speed up chemical reactions in the body. Enzymes do not help in synthesizing protein, producing ribosomes, or bringing about cell division. Synthesizing proteins is the function of ribosomes; producing ribosomes is the function of the nucleolus; and cell division is brought about by the process of meiosis.
