Answer to Question 2
C
Feedback:
If a client refuses to eat hospital food, the nurse should obtain permission to let the family bring all the food from home. This would make the client feel comfortable. Even if the nurse tries to convince the client that hospital food is good for her health, she may not eat enough because of her personal food preferences and aversions. The same would happen even if the family members tried to feed her hospital food. Alternating hospital food with the client's home food is not an appropriate intervention when caring for this client.
