Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
When possible, a modification of agency policy that demonstrates respect for individual culture and ethnic beliefs is important to explore. The primary care provider is unable to modify the implementation of stated agency policies. Utilizing an empty room with an employee to sit with the deceased is not an appropriate option.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
The nurse should consider tofu (soybean curd) to be a good source of protein and calcium. Soybean is one of the best sources of protein. Seaweed, bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts, although eaten by Japanese Americans, are not as good sources of protein and calcium as tofu.
