Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Acute illness interferes with the wellnessillness continuum for a short period of time. Organic disease is the occurrence of detectable structural change in one or more organs that also alters usual function. Functional disease is a disorder in which a structural cause cannot be identified. Chronic illness results in long-term health impairment.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
Anteriorly, one branch of the common carotid artery is the internal carotid artery. The internal carotid anastomoses (connects) with the circle of Willis, thus providing oxygenated blood to the brain. Oxygenated blood also arrives at the brain by another route. The right vertebral artery and left vertebral artery branch form the subclavian artery at the posterior aspect of the brain.
