Answer to Question 1

Ans: B
Feedback:
CF is a state of physical, emotional, and spiritual exhaustion that is a result of caring too much for an individual client. Stating that one is tired of taking care of a client displays apathy toward the client. Looking forward to helping a client and wanting to do so displays energy and optimism with no signs of CF. Feeling spiritually fulfilled provides a feeling of purpose for providing the care, which is not a sign of CF.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: A
Feedback:
It is important for all nurses to participate in emergency preparedness training programs offered by employers and community groups. This action is of greater benefit than achieving certification, being politically active, or teaching clients and families.
