Answer to Question 1

Ans: B
Feedback:
Nonverbal behavior could be misinterpreted and it also does not clearly identify his or her expectations. Using I and describing how the nurse expects him to behave let him know what is expected. It would be unfair to allow one employee to create his or her own assignments and a manager is expected to try to resolve issues.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: A
Feedback:
A manager must constantly evaluate the quality of client care. Formal evaluations generally occur annually and developing policies and procedures is not a daily management task. These are usually developed by a committee. Verbal orders should be an infrequent occurrence.
