Answer to Question 1

Ans: D
Feedback:
A student who becomes overly anxious in testing situations might want to consider professional counseling. Many psychologists specialize in helping students overcome serious test anxiety. A review course or study group is unlikely to help and nursing instructors likely have neither the time nor the expertise to help this student overcome his problem.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: A
Feedback:
The most effective studying strategy for a large exam such as the NCLEX-PN is to study frequently over a prolonged period of time, ideally at several points throughout the nursing program. Waiting until very late in the program, or until the program is complete, may not be conducive to success.
