Answer to Question 1

ANS: 2, 3
When failed communication occurs, it is often played over and over in one's mind to figure out what happened. This is referred to as a mind tape. This constant mental replay takes much energy and time from one's daily life.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: 1, 2
A communication block prevents effective communication. Preconceived opinions and physical disabilities are two examples of a communication block. A physical disability can be a block when you are not aware of the disability or do not know how to successfully communicate about the disability. When a preconceived opinion is present and is wrong, a communication block exists.
