Answer to Question 1

ANS: 1, 5
Others come for advice to a person because of his or her listening skills. They seek that person out also because of the interest the person is displaying to them and making eye contact.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: 3
Listening to others is the most important skill, and students must learn to listen carefully. Listening carefully to others (the doctor, the patient, and other staff members) allows the student to get needed information, avoid misunderstanding, and contribute greatly to successful communication.
