Answer to Question 1

ANS: 3
You should practice your entrance skills prior to an interview. Entrance skills include your gait when entering a room, a smile, and a firm handshake.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: 4
Your clothing and general appearance are crucial to a successful interview. How you look tells the employer that you are proud of yourself and your profession. Your clothing should be professional (a suit for women and a tie for men). Regarding general appearance, hair should be neat, jewelry should be kept to a minimum, and makeup should be conservative. Arriving on time is important, but you should not arrive too early. Chewing gum and wearing a nursing uniform are not appropriate for a job interview.
