How might a prospective employee get an unbiased view of expectations of a future employer?
 
  1.
  Take an informal tour of the facility.
  2.
  Read the employer's advertisement for jobs.
  3.
  Ask someone who is currently employed there.
  4.
  Read newspaper articles about the facility.

Question 2

You have graduated and passed your National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). You are now a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and are searching for a job. Your employer will have certain expectations of you as a potential employee.
 
  One of those important expectations is that you:

  are highly skilled in all aspects of patient care.
  2.
  show loyalty to the institution and its leaders.
  3.
  can perform highly skilled procedures, such as administration of IV and morphine.

An informal tour through a hospital or nursing home can give you additional information about the expectations of your potential employer, as well as additional information for you regarding the desirability of the job.

ANS: 2
An important expectation of employers is that potential employees will be loyal to the institution and its leaders. This concept should be put into effect at every place of employment.
