Answer to Question 1

limited to imaging small anatomic structures

Rationale: Rotating anodes allow heat to be dissipated along a focal track. A rotating anode allows the anode to withstand the heat produced with greater technical factors. Stationary anodes are limited to small anatomic parts.

Answer to Question 2

OID

Rationale: Increased OID contributes to part magnification, which is destructive to image detail. The general rule is to maintain the part as close to the IR as possible.
